Coming Out I know a lot of girls struggle with coming out to their parents which is why I want to let y’all know how I came out
This first time I came out my mom didn’t fully understand what I was trying to tell her. She simply shrugged off the conversation and told me that I could never be gay. Anyways, she caught on that I didn’t like boys when the only girls I brought home had the infamous Justin Bieber haircut. Recently we were talking and it went sort of like this:
my mom and I were talking about my nipple piercing and how she thinks it’s trashy. My reply back to her was “well, who is going to see it?!”
she, of course, replies back with “whoever you show it to! Your boyfriend?” I began to laugh and she continues “or girlfriend.” at that I was taken aback. My mother had no idea how I feel about girls- at least so I thought. “you know!!?”
“no shit, it’s obvious. You haven’t brought a boy home since AJ and let’s just say that your friend choice lately has been gay girls.”
My parents don’t care, and I know that is a rare occurrence but it can happen. (:
